About The Position

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Recycling Attendant. This full-time/Seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. The primary role of the Recycling Attendant is to ensure that the highest standards for recycling and waste management are completed throughout the resort. This individual will perform a variety of activities to ensure a consistent and properly functional guest environment within all areas on property.

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of recyclable items, because if items are not sorted correctly the dump will not accept them and send them back.
• Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally

Responsibilities

• Keep the recycling area clean and wash it down at the end of every work day.
• Lead special projects as developed and approved.
