The Recruitment Supervisor leads the execution of recruitment strategies for a specific market or service lines. This role ensures direct reports adhere to company service level agreements and industry best practices, including process performance, posting practices, candidate experience, and relationships with managers and facility leadership. The supervisor is directly responsible for managing a subset of the larger Group recruitment team, including performance management, annual evaluations, training, and support. They assist recruiters and managers in resolving issues related to process, technology, candidate flow, and other challenges. This position takes a leadership stance for the entire Group team and can provide short-term coverage for the Group manager. The role involves providing reports and actionable information to facility leadership to drive recruiting results, coordinating recruitment efforts for assigned facilities and/or service line vacancies, and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and postings for optimal SEO and applicant attraction. The Recruitment Supervisor maintains ongoing communication with Department Managers and Directors to ensure accuracy of open positions and alignment with Contract Labor and Overtime, and works with managers to develop unit-specific recruitment and workforce planning solutions. They consult with hiring managers to ensure fairness in hiring practices and final selection decisions, and conduct on-site visits using Intake guides and Service Level Agreements to understand unit-specific culture and staffing needs. The role involves developing strategies for media recommendations, niche sites, and conferences to build a candidate pipeline, reviewing and screening applications, calculating salary, presenting and negotiating offers, and closing job requisitions in compliance with departmental policy, including informing unsuccessful candidates. Additionally, the supervisor partners with HR in meetings to identify obstacles, process improvements, and promote positive communication, and trains and develops new recruiters and coordinators. This role also leads advertising, marketing, job fairs, and hiring events for the market, and may require onsite visits as needed, along with other assigned projects.
