About The Position

We are seeking a mission-driven professional who demonstrates alignment with our Medical Group’s core values of compassion, innovation, and excellence. Under the guidance of the Executive Director of Human Resources and in partnership with Physician Recruiters, the Recruitment Specialist will support strategic candidate sourcing of physicians and clinicians, including screening and selection activities. Assist with the administration of key processes throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This position is based onsite in Honolulu, HI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, health administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional HR experience, preferably within professional talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in professional communication, organization, and interpersonal relations.
  • Understands principles of recruiting and interviewing practices within a diverse organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and people assessment skills.
  • Able to build trust quickly with physician and clinician candidates while promoting HPMG.
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.
  • Familiarity of posting on job boards, websites, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to travel to other facilities and offices in support of recruitment activities and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that enhance physician recruitment efforts and elevate HPMG’s visibility among local and national candidate markets and recruitment channels.
  • Manage recruitment postings, advertising, and distribution efforts across online job boards, email campaigns, and virtual career fairs, including creating content and design of recruitment brochures/collateral to promote HPMG opportunities.
  • Lead physician candidate sourcing efforts to maximize the pool of qualified applicants through online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, professional associations, universities, residency and fellowship programs, and external agencies.
  • Conduct initial applicant screening, including review of CVs to confirm minimum qualifications and screening interviews to assess alignment with position requirements.
  • Present opportunity to candidates with detail and clarity, providing information about HPMG and specific elements of the position.
  • Facilitate the progression of qualified candidates through the recruitment process while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist with post-offer and pre-hire activities to ensure all appropriate requirements are completed prior to start date. This includes initiating required state and federal licensing, certificates and documents with Credentialing department and various agencies and institutions, and ensuring timely completion.
