About The Position

The Recruitment & Retention Specialist will serve as a liaison between employees, management, and Human Resources in the areas of recruiting, retention, and staff development.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of general HR practices and procedures.
  • Skilled in operating office machinery with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
  • Demonstrates appropriate understanding of working with confidential material and situations.
  • Ability to understand and assimilate new information quickly.
  • Ability to accurately complete reports, gather statistics, transfer data.
  • Human Resources experience required.
  • Prior recruiting experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, HR Certification and/or field experience considered.
  • Knowledge about the disease of addiction preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Positively represents the agency through appropriate interaction, personal appearance, and attitude.
  • Maintains the recruitment and applicant tracking system through posting and filling both internal and external positions.
  • Ensures vital talent flow by partnering with leaders to develop strategies that attract an inclusive pool of qualified and talented team members.
  • Assess candidates for qualifications, skills, experience, and knowledge relative to open positions.
  • Assists in facilitating the onboarding and orientation process.
  • Ensures all screening and hiring is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Tracks and maintains the credentials of clinical providers.
  • Strengthens the employee experience by identifying, understanding, and creatively addressing engagement and retention needs and opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with candidates, team members, and management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all human resources files and records.
  • Other HR functions, as necessary.
  • Assists with office tasks as needed.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
