About The Position

The Team Lead, Recruitment Operations- Early Talent/University Relations is responsible for developing and leading the healthcare system’s enterprise-wide early careers talent strategy, university relations programs, and digital talent attraction initiatives. This role establishes academic partnerships, builds sustainable talent pipelines, and aligns student and new graduate recruitment with workforce needs across nursing, allied health, and other priority career pathways. Serving as the system-wide subject matter expert for university relations and early career recruitment, this individual partners closely with Talent Acquisition Recruiters, Workforce Development, Clinical and Operational Leaders, Clinical Education, and Marketing, to align workforce planning priorities with talent pipeline strategies. The Team Lead translates organizational hiring needs into scalable recruitment programs that drive candidate conversion, improve hiring outcomes, and support long-term workforce sustainability. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and measurement of all university relations activities, including career fairs, campus events, classroom partnerships, student organization engagement, clinical coordinator and faculty relations, ambassador programs, and talent community development. The Team Lead ensures a consistent and positive candidate experience while expanding the organization's visibility and reputation among students, faculty, and emerging healthcare professionals. The Team Lead leverages recruitment technology, CRM platforms, automation tools, social media strategies, and data analytics to optimize candidate engagement and improve operational efficiency. Through continuous monitoring of key performance indicators, workforce trends, and recruitment funnel metrics, the role evaluates program effectiveness, identifies opportunities for improvement, and provides actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Team Lead Position Summary The Team Leader for Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving all aspects of the talent relationship management process. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for education
  • Five (5) - Eight (8) or more years of recruitment experience, including experience in university relations, campus recruitment, early careers, or talent pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing recruitment strategies and leading initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience establishing and managing academic or workforce partnerships.
  • Proficiency with recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms, digital talent attraction, and recruitment reporting tools.
  • Strong project management, relationship management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, guide execution, and manage competing priorities in a complex organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience while expanding the organization's visibility and reputation among students, faculty, and emerging healthcare professionals.
  • Leveraging recruitment technology, CRM platforms, automation tools, social media strategies, and data analytics to optimize candidate engagement and improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluating program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Driving all aspects of the talent relationship management process.
  • Lead recruitment projects and assign team members as needed
  • Meet with director monthly to review all projects and tool utilization
  • Assist in conducting one on one monthly reviews with recruiters
  • Exemplify recruitment branding and lead other recruiters on how to promote the brand
  • Work with sourcing team to put out strong recruitment branding
  • Use HRIS, Recruitment Marketing tools
  • Source and find candidates qualified for open positions
  • Take part in interview panel for all new recruiters
  • Reviews employment applications and background check reports
  • Consistently review recruitment tools and provide feedback to Manager and Director
  • Assist in yearly training for entire recruitment team
  • Assist with training for new recruiters and onboarding specialist
  • Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
  • Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
