About The Position

LEEP is seeking a highly organised, mission-driven, and proactive Recruitment Associate to support the growth and effectiveness of our talent acquisition processes. This is a dynamic, hands-on role at the heart of LEEP’s operations, providing essential support to the Recruitment Manager and the wider team to ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent to deliver LEEP’s mission and maximise its impact. As a Recruitment Associate, you will report to the Recruitment Manager, working closely with them to drive recruitment initiatives, manage candidate communications, and support the smooth execution of hiring processes. Your responsibilities will be varied and meaningful: from posting job openings and sourcing candidates, to conducting interviews and assisting with onboarding logistics. You will also contribute to improving recruitment processes and systems, helping the team operate efficiently and professionally. This is a collaborative, high-impact position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment. You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities while working independently. A positive, can-do attitude, curiosity, and strong communication skills will help you succeed as you support LEEP in building a strong, capable team.

Requirements

  • Passion for LEEP’s mission and for driving excellent recruitment
  • At least 1-5 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in proactive candidate sourcing, including Boolean and advanced search techniques, LinkedIn sourcing, talent mapping, referrals, and network-based recruitment.
  • Curious and eager to learn, especially when navigating new or ambiguous situations
  • Strong judgement and the ability to quickly understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver who can ask the right questions, spot gaps, and make logical connections
  • Systems thinker who understands how different parts of the hiring process connect and impact outcomes
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • High standards of accuracy and quality in day-to-day work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarise insights and engage stakeholders professionally
  • Strong digital literacy, including confidence using tools such as Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems

  • Experience conducting interviews, assessments, or structured evaluations is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in other languages, such as French, Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese, is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Recruitment Manager with end-to-end hiring processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting openings, sourcing candidates, and screening applications.
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and calls between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring schedules, agendas, and follow-ups are well organised.
  • Support candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Ensure that all interactions reflect LEEP’s values and mission.
  • Assist with reference checks, offer letters, and other recruitment documentation.
  • Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems to inform reporting and decision-making.
  • Proactively source candidates for priority and hard-to-fill roles using a range of channels, including LinkedIn, Boolean and advanced search techniques, professional networks, referrals, talent communities, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Build relationships with prospective candidates and maintain talent networks over time.
  • Track and evaluate sourcing channels to understand what is generating strong candidates and where additional investment or experimentation is needed.
  • Maintain accurate and well organised recruitment data in the ATS, including candidate records, talent pools, recruitment activity, and pipeline information.
  • Use the ATS to support effective workflows, reporting, talent pooling, and candidate management.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive recruitment activities and use AI and other digital tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Track and analyse recruitment data, including source effectiveness, pipeline health, bottlenecks, time-to-hire, and other relevant recruitment metrics.
  • Turn recruitment data into practical insights that help improve hiring decisions, processes, and sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain organised and accessible documentation related to recruitment processes, ensuring all information is up to date.
  • Experiment with different approaches to candidate attraction, including social media, professional communities, events, referrals, partnerships, and other relevant talent channels.
  • Contribute to building structured, scalable hiring practices (e.g. interview frameworks, scorecards)
  • Act as a liaison between the recruitment team and other departments, helping manage hiring requests and ensuring timely responses.
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as delegated by the Recruitment Manager to help LEEP achieve its goals.
