About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting & Payroll Coordinator to support our growing team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of talent acquisition and payroll operations, ensuring both a seamless hiring experience and accurate employee compensation. This is an onsite position, 5 days per week, in a midtown Atlanta location. Atlanta’s market is competitive for HR talent, so we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, stay organized under pressure, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or payroll
  • Experience supporting multi-state payroll (preferred in Southeast region)
  • Strong attention to detail—payroll accuracy is critical
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems, ideally Paycor
  • Familiarity with Georgia labor laws and payroll regulations
  • HR experience in a law firm desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage interview scheduling across multiple hiring managers and departments
  • Maintain candidate pipelines in the ATS and ensure timely follow-up
  • Support high-volume recruiting efforts when needed
  • Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding coordination
  • Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll with a high level of accuracy
  • Audit timesheets and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including changes and deductions
  • Partner with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
  • Maintain employee records in HRIS systems
  • Support HR initiatives and reporting needs
