About The Position

Housley Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire qualified employees and subcontractors to support our company's growth. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building talent pipelines, maintaining relationships with candidates, and ensuring positions are filled quickly with high-quality talent.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting skilled trades, construction, or subcontractors is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, screen, and interview candidates for employee and subcontractor positions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist in the selection process.
  • Verify qualifications, work history, licenses, certifications, and references as required.
  • Facilitate the subcontractor contract and rates, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and applicant tracking systems.
  • Build relationships with trade professionals, staffing resources, vocational schools, and community organizations to expand recruiting efforts.
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies.
  • Work closely with management to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring success.
  • Promote the company's culture, values, and employment opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn the organization and gain a deep understanding of the people they support, paired with a genuine "can-do" attitude and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
