The Recruiting Manager will lead the daily operations and performance of a recruiting team supporting hiring needs across multiple Patterson-UTI business units. This role is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient delivery of staffing and recruiting outcomes, managing the conversion of large applicant pools into hires while also driving proactive recruiting strategies to attract both active and passive talent. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiting Manager will lead a professional recruiting team, providing coaching, performance management, and direction to ensure consistent execution and strong hiring outcomes. This role requires a balance of operational discipline and strategic leadership, with a focus on meeting hiring demand, improving processes, and elevating the overall capability of the recruiting function. The Recruiting Manager will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR to align recruiting strategies with workforce needs, while also contributing to the ongoing transformation of Talent Acquisition into a more standardized, data-driven, and scalable function. The successful candidate will set high standards of performance for themselves and others; communicate effectively in all settings; demonstrate strong business acumen and analytical thinking; adapt to changing priorities; and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This role will work under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition and will align and coordinate activities with other HR functions both locally and nationally.
