About The Position

The Recruiting Intern role will be immersed in every aspect of our recruitment operations. This will include staffing projects and range from responding to applicant inquiries, conducting phone screenings and facilitating in-person interviews to scheduling pre-onboarding activities. You will also attend company recruiting events, prepare and analyze staffing data and reports, and support various new hire engagement activities. You will be joining a highly professional, client-focused, and dedicated team of recruiting professionals and will gain insight into, knowledge of, and hands-on experience in recruiting for defense contractor manufacturing and engineering. You will learn and develop skills in managing the workflow for recruiting and hiring in both high-volume and highly technical roles.

Requirements

  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with ATS, Microsoft Office including Teams applications
  • Prior experience with customer service phone support, administrative coordination activities
  • Organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Driving activities in support of high-volume recruiting
  • Posting and refreshing job opportunities on all relevant platforms
  • Managing job description database projects
  • Managing inquires and accessibility requests
  • Handling incoming applications and screenings, and related documentation
  • Organizing interview schedules and scheduling pre-employment testing and initiating background checks
  • Maintain on-going contact with candidates through the process
  • Attending recruiting fairs and events
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team with other tasks as assigned
