About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Recruiting Coordintor to support recruiting efforts for both classified and non‑classified roles in Rhode Island. In this role, you will manage talent acquisition activities across union and non‑union environments and support broader HR processes as needed. This position operates within a higher education setting and supports HR functions that utilize PeopleSoft. This multi year role is onsite in Kingston, RI, and is open to Green Card Holders and U.S. Citizens only.

Requirements

  • Talent acquisition experience supporting both union and non-union environments.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft/PSFT HR modules.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recruiting support for classified and non‑classified positions across the institution.
  • Manage end‑to-end talent acquisition activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR partners to ensure consistent hiring processes across union and non‑union environments.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation, candidate records, and reporting.
  • Support HR initiatives and contribute to process improvements within the HR function.
