About The Position

Our Talent Acquisition team plays an important role in Express Flooring’s continued growth, helping ensure we have the right people in place to support our teams and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. Behind every successful hire is a recruiting process that is organized, responsive, and accurate—from the moment a position opens through a new employee’s first day. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of that process, helping keep every detail moving forward. You’ll support requisitions, offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding while partnering closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and candidates. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays ahead of the details, communicates proactively, and takes pride in creating a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR administration, onboarding, or a related support role preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
Experience with applicant tracking, HR, or onboarding systems; Greenhouse experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces with accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and a proactive, service-oriented approach to supporting candidates and internal partners.
Professional discretion and good judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
Greenhouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage job requisitions in Greenhouse from opening through close, ensuring position details, approvals, and required information are accurate and complete.
Prepare offer letters and employment documents, coordinating approvals and verifying compensation, start dates, reporting details, and other key information before offers are issued.
Track offers and hiring activity, providing timely updates to recruiters, hiring managers, Human Resources, and other key partners.
Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and required documentation, proactively following up on outstanding items and escalating concerns when needed.
Support a smooth transition from candidate to new hire by coordinating onboarding details with Human Resources and submitting necessary IT requests.
Communicate with candidates throughout the offer and pre-employment process, providing clear information about requirements, next steps, and start dates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate, requisition, and hiring records across Greenhouse and other HR systems.
Keep recruiting activities moving by monitoring deadlines, following up on outstanding approvals or information, and anticipating potential delays.
Assist with interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, recruiting events, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, strengthen efficiency and accuracy, and enhance the candidate and hiring-manager experience.
Handle confidential candidate, employee, compensation, and company information with professionalism and discretion.
Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and recruiting team on additional projects and priorities that support the needs of the business.
