About The Position

Ambrook is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator & Sourcer to join their early team and support the company's next phase of growth. This role will work directly with the founding recruiter, focusing on sourcing and coordination for both technical and commercial positions. The position offers opportunities for growth into full-cycle recruiting, RecOps & talent engineering, or specialized sourcing. The team utilizes tools like Claude, Zapier, and Ashby, and new hires will be set up with a Github account. This role is ideal for someone energized by operational craft and building within the recruiting process.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting coordination, with a strong bias toward proactive, pipeline-generation work and operational precision.
  • Actively use AI tools in your workflow and have started building with them, not just using them.
  • Experience automating or systematizing part of a sourcing or coordination process and ability to describe what was built and what it unlocked.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive talent in competitive markets.
  • Strong enough understanding of technical roles to speak credibly with engineers about what they work on and why it matters.
  • Experienced with LinkedIn as well as modern platforms like Juicebox, Metaview, Wrangle, Gem, etc.
  • Clear, effective written communicator who can represent Ambrook's voice in candidate-facing messages.
  • Keep the pipeline organized by managing your sequences and follow-ups, tagging candidates, and submitting well-written feedback.
  • Ability to hit outbound goals, but outreach reads like a person wrote it.
  • Take the time to look for real connections and touchpoints with candidates.
  • Genuinely energized by coordination and the operational side of recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing and coordination across both technical and commercial roles.
  • Find strong candidates.
  • Keep the recruiting process moving.
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience from first touch through onsite.
  • Schedule and coordinate across active requisitions.
  • Launch sourcing and outreach campaigns for technical and/or commercial roles.
  • Map improvements and identify candidates for automation or tooling improvement.
  • Own scheduling and coordination across all active pipelines.
  • Run consistent weekly volume of outbound sourcing across technical and commercial roles.
  • Hold top-of-funnel conversations with sourced candidates and hand qualified prospects to the founding recruiter for full screens.
  • Ship automations or tooling improvements that measurably reduced manual work and increased the number of sourced candidates in the pipeline.
  • Own top-of-funnel strategy across roles, including sourcing channels, outreach approach, pipeline health & reporting.
  • Prototype or co-build larger systems such as a sourcing agent, a market intelligence feed, or an AI-powered candidate personalization workflow.
  • Build reusable sourcing playbooks.
  • Present pipeline health and funnel data to the recruiting team and hiring managers.
  • Manage sequences and follow-ups, tag candidates, and submit well-written feedback.
  • Hit outbound goals while ensuring outreach reads personally.
  • Look for real connections and touchpoints with candidates.
