About The Position

Maybell Quantum is redefining the future of computing. Quantum computers will be as transformative to the next 30 years as the internet was to the last 30—and our team is creating the hardware foundation to make this revolution possible. We’re hiring our first dedicated Recruiter to own full-cycle deep tech recruiting across the company, including R&D, engineering, product, manufacturing operations, and business operations. This is an IC role reporting to the Head of People. You will be responsible for all recruiting activities from intake, sourcing, and scheduling through offer acceptance. You will get to design and improve processes and drive the candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and recruiting for highly technical and hard-to-fill roles in a fast-paced, growing company. We are prioritizing candidates based in Denver or New York but would consider remote candidates for the right experience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of proven full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within deep tech, hardware, advanced manufacturing, or other highly technical environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to source, assess, and close highly specialized talent
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
  • Experience working in lean recruiting environments

Nice To Haves

  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Greenhouse is also a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruiting across multiple disciplines, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and close
  • Actively source and engage candidates for highly technical and niche roles using proven strategies
  • Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for quality and candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and structured interview plans
  • Implement and reinforce best practices around interviewing, including bias mitigation and consistent evaluation
  • Drive timely feedback, thoughtful decision-making, and clear communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Identify gaps in the interview process and proactively recommend improvements
  • Help shape how we tell our story to candidates, including messaging around mission, culture, and growth
  • Draft compelling job descriptions that align with our exciting momentum
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality data in the ATS
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics
  • Continuously improve recruiting workflows, tools, and processes as we scale

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation Packages: Base salary range $90,000 - $140,000, with additional compensation through performance bonuses and equity options in one of the country's most promising startups. This range reflects compensation for candidates who meet our preferred qualifications. Final compensation will be based on individual qualifications, depth of technical experience, and scope of ownership. While industry experience is preferred, candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential may be considered, with compensation aligned accordingly.
