About The Position

Join Easterseals’ Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) as a Recruiter! This is a remote position, and candidates must reside in DC, MD, or VA. VSN is a mission-driven non-profit staffing firm dedicated to sourcing and recruiting U.S. military veterans, National Guard/Reserve members, and military spouses for a wide range of civilian job opportunities across the country. Our clients span diverse industries, and we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier talent with speed, precision, and care. As a Recruiter, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—building relationships, identifying top talent, and matching candidates with roles that align with their skills and aspirations. You’ll work remotely but stay closely connected with our collaborative team.

Requirements

• Military-connected candidates strongly preferred (Veterans, Guard/Reserve, Military Spouses)
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, ideally in an agency setting
• 2–5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced office environment
• Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and ATS platforms (Salesforce experience a plus)
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Creatively source candidates through cold-calling, referrals, networking, email campaigns, and database searches
• Understand client needs and job requirements across varied industries
• Review resumes and screen candidates to assess fit for clients’ needs for various positions
• Manage candidate pipelines using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Coordinate interviews and prepare candidates for success
• Support onboarding and follow-up post-placement
• Contribute to job postings and other recruiting initiatives as needed
