About The Position

The Christman Company is seeking a temporary Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team for an immediate, short-term assignment up to 12 weeks (approx. through November 2026). This role will provide recruiting support during a team leave and is ideal for an experienced recruiter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, building relationships, and helping teams find great talent. You'll partner with our Talent Acquisition and hiring teams to source, screen, and manage candidates across a variety of positions while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience with experience managing full-cycle recruiting.
  • Proven success sourcing passive candidates and filling professional positions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Recruiting experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, or a related industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience supporting corporate or professional hiring is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned openings from intake through final interviews.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and other recruiting tools.
  • Screen candidates and assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting guidance.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Keep candidate records and recruiting activities up to date within the applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with general recruiting operations and other Talent Acquisition projects as needed.
