About The Position

York Space Systems is seeking a Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of York by identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent across a wide range of disciplines—from specialized technical positions to corporate functions. The Recruiter partners closely with hiring teams to deliver a high-quality recruitment experience and represents York in the marketplace as a trusted brand ambassador. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting exceptional talent with a company that is redefining the aerospace industry.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing strategies, including engaging and converting passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver results.
  • Values data integrity and organization to power data analytics and trend insights.
  • Brings a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and enhance candidate experience.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools; experience with Dayforce is a plus.
  • Ability to work fulltime in office.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from partnering with hiring teams, sourcing to interviewing and offer management through successful onboarding including technical and corporate positions.
  • Identify industry insights and partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs to develop and deliver effective recruiting strategies.
  • Prioritize a positive candidate experience.
  • Represent York Space Systems as a brand ambassador in candidate interactions including in-person recruiting events.
  • Craft compelling job postings and outreach messages to attract top talent.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates for both hiring teams and candidates, while maintaining organized records and documentation throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to metrics gathering and identify candidate and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and apply best practices to strengthen experience for hiring teams and candidates.
