About The Position

About GoodVets GoodVets is a network of innovative animal hospitals co-owned by local veterinarians who operate them. We elevate the veterinary experience through modern, thoughtfully designed hospitals built around a unique vet-owner model. Our hospitals provide high-quality, comprehensive healthcare for pets, and we are rapidly expanding across the U.S., supported by leading private equity partners including General Atlantic and SkyKnight Capital. We’re looking for a high-energy Recruiter who thrives on proactive sourcing and isn’t afraid of cold outreach. This role is ideal for someone who loves finding hard-to-reach talent, building relationships from the first touch, and partnering closely with a Senior Recruiter in a true tag-team approach to close top candidates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hard-to-fill sourcing and recruiting
  • Loves creating exceptional candidate experiences
  • Comfortable and confident with cold calling and persistent outreach - creative in approach
  • Strong relationship-building and candidate engagement skills
  • Willingness to travel to support candidate experience and hiring needs
  • Collaborative mindset with comfort working in a paired, team-based recruiting model
  • Organized, driven, and results-oriented
  • Obsessed with candidate organization, data and tracking

Responsibilities

  • Own deep, proactive sourcing across multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, cold calling, email, text, events)
  • Develop deep understanding of competitor landscape and market nuances and leverage knowledge to be agile in sourcing approach
  • Execute high-volume cold outreach and cold calling to engage passive candidates
  • Partner tightly with a Senior Recruiter to qualify, advance, and support close of candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Travel as needed to deliver exceptional, white-glove candidate experiences (site visits, interviews, events)
  • Build strong pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and maintain ongoing talent relationships
  • Track outreach, pipeline activity, and candidate progress with consistency and discipline
