About The Position

The responsibilities of the Recruiter are generally to identify, recruit and successfully deliver all levels of aviation talent to hiring managers. Responsibilities Responsible for networking, sourcing, interviewing, checking references, and delivering qualified candidates that meet company requirements and expectations. Establishes recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss needs and determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements. Additionally, the Recruiter builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites. Manages full lifecycle recruiting and maintains excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and the community at-large. The position is focused on EEO and AAP compliance. Evaluates resumes/applications against openings. Sets up interviews and advises managers of correct interview procedures. Assists managers in evaluating staffing needs and completing required paperwork. Collects information relative to equal employment opportunity/affirmative action programs. Informs employees of EEO laws. Ensures nondiscriminatory practices are followed. Maintains EEO bulletin boards. Analyzes jobs and prepares descriptions of duties responsibilities and qualifications. Evaluates compensation surveys and recommends changes in pay scales. Assists in development of policies and procedures for compensation system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent aviation experience.
  • Two to five years recruiting experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior aviation industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience with high volume recruiting preferred
  • Prior experience working with staffing agencies preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO and CEO.
