About The Position

This role involves a comprehensive range of recruitment and HR support functions. The Recruiter will be responsible for reviewing applications, prescreening candidates based on various qualifications, and verifying employment eligibility. A key aspect of the role is supporting the selection of qualified candidates, with a preference for enrolled members of Quapaw, CCS, Native Americans, and Veterans. The position also entails managing HRIS data, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring compliance with tribal, federal, and state regulations. Additionally, the Recruiter will assist with new hire processes, participate in recruitment events, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires close collaboration with hiring managers and supervisors to ensure an appropriate and effective selection process.

Requirements

  • Full working knowledge of DCR HR Information System Kronos.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply all Tribal, Federal, and State Regulations applicable to HR.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews employment applications and prescreens applicants to evaluate work history, skills, education, training, reference checks, compensation needs, and other qualifications.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and enters HRIS data.
  • Supports the appropriate selection of candidates, working with business partners to hire the most qualified individuals, giving preference to qualified enrolled members of Quapaw, CCS, Native Americans, and Veterans.
  • Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities.
  • Secures all personnel files and completes appropriate maintenance of all personnel records.
  • Coordinates and maintains all Employee Tracking in HRIS, including entering new hires and transfers (requiring full working knowledge of DCR HR Information System Kronos).
  • Assists with the QNGA, Wardrobe, and Benefits Manager on the notification of any new hires, transfers, etc.
  • Learns, understands, and applies all Tribal, Federal, and State Regulations applicable to HR.
  • Performs data input for applications when appropriate and necessary.
  • Files employment applications and other personnel information per department.
  • Completes new hire forms, obtains signatures on conditional offer letters, issues ID Badges, and answers general HR-related questions.
  • Participates in form completion during the New Hire Orientation process.
  • Performs duties of the HR Assistant when needed.
  • Supports in Job Fairs and other employment recruitment events.
  • Works with hiring managers to design appropriate job-related questions and serves as a liaison to Supervisors and Managers on the appropriateness of the selection process.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner, while maintaining a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
  • Posts all vacant positions and supports the Lead Recruiter.
  • Attends all necessary training meetings and assists in other projects as directed.
  • Assists in other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
