About The Position

Daikin Comfort Technologies Mfg is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Recruiter, Level 3, position located in Waller, TX. The Recruiter, Level 3, is responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment process, including the development and execution of talent attraction, sourcing, assessment, selection, and talent acquisition strategies for experienced candidates. This is for external and/or internal candidates for at all job levels, including experienced sales, professional technical, IT, support staff and leadership roles. Ensures timely placement and onboarding of qualified candidates to meet the Company’s objectives for securing top talent.

  • Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience
  • Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
  • Expert knowledge of strategies and best practices for sourcing and identifying high quality candidates through various means and channels and full-life cycle of recruiting processes
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of sourcing tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, social media
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and “customer focus” with ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with all levels of a rapidly growing geographically dispersed organization
  • Expert working knowledge and utilization of ATS applications
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office– Outlook, Word & Excel, PowerPoint – (Excel - functions, formulas, charts/pivot tables, etc.)
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical skills, data analysis – generate, extract and analyze data to identify trends and anomalies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business acumen and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills independently including strong work ethics and integrity on the job
  • 9 - 15 years of in-depth full cycle recruiting expertise – proven track record recruiting for Professional Sales, Engineers, Corporate Functions, and Manufacturing positions in addition to executive level roles (Director level and above)
  • 7+ years of experience developing Talent Acquisition strategies and processes/procedures
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; collaborating with managers to discuss needs and long term strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including role definition, strategic candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer development/negotiation presentation and on-boarding in partnership with HRBPs and Client Leadership
  • Build applicant sources by researching and establishing relationships with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications.
  • Ensure approved job requisition details and descriptions are correctly entered in the ATS including EEO and FLSA information.
  • Attract applicants by proactively placing job advertisements; social media, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determine applicants’ qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interview applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Help implement plans to exceed hiring targets and KPIs, with a priority on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Generate reports, extracts and analyze data to identify trends and report findings and offers recommendations to senior management.
  • Able to make data-driven decisions and leverages data to tell a story or influence a decision/outcome
  • Develop plans to exceed established metrics and KPIs
  • Complies with defined processes and ensure the data entry, maintenance of accurate and concise records, documents and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics. (i.e.; Job details, posting, candidate details, forms via Applicant Tracking System (ATS), pre-employment, etc)
  • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending and implementing new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Maintain knowledge of current legislation; enforce regulations with managers; recommend new procedures; conduct training.
  • Continuously update recruiting job knowledge and best practices through various learning methods & opportunities.
  • Participate in additional activities/projects that will enhance Talent Acquisition and other areas of the company
