Your Role We are seeking proactive and energetic Recruiter and Junior HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute across multiple HR functions—including business partner and talent acquisition responsibilities. This will be a unique opportunity to learn from HR Business Partners and Senior Recruiters, work closely with management across the firm and grow a well-rounded HR skillset The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational and relationship building skills with the ability to efficiently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and simultaneously demonstrate sound judgement, professionalism, confidentiality and client service. Responsibilities include: HR Business Partner: Working closely with senior HR business partners in key talent processes such as promotions, performance reviews and compensation Advise and support employee career management Manage employee transitions such as relocations, transfers and internal mobility Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes Contribute to cross HR projects to help ensure seamless execution Campus & Lateral Recruiting: Assist with all aspects of the recruiting process for summer internship and entry level hiring across AQR’s business lines Partner with business stakeholders to establish and evolve our campus recruiting strategy to most effectively meet their hiring needs Meet regularly with business teams throughout the recruiting season and while conducting lateral searches to drive the decision-making process and offer extension Handle day-to-day sourcing and assessment of campus and lateral candidates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, with exposure to campus recruiting preferred
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with urgency and precision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage professionally across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
  • Adaptable and resilient in the face of change, with a continuous learning orientation
  • Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  • Collaborative and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset
