About The Position

Purpose and role of job: Responsible for providing support in the Human Resources department for activities such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, administering benefits, counseling and providing assistance to team members. This position will focus primarily on recruiting for McElhattan campus. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: Oversees hourly recruitment process, which includes arranging and conducting interviews, tracking all openings, and collaborates with supervisors to align on hiring decisions. Onboards hourly and salary team members; educating them on HR policies and procedures. Processes payroll, ensuring team members are properly paid for time worked and time off requests. Manages hourly performance appraisal process. Generates and processes Personnel Action Forms (PAF) to change team member pay, job title, shift, etc. Ensures policies are current, in compliance with HR laws, and team members are advised of any changes. Maintains electronic personnel files. Collaborates with external vendors to provide team member appreciation and holiday events; works with internal management for budget approvals. Facilitates team member engagement committees and provides recommendations to management. Collaborates with supervisors to ensure proper discipline is administered to team members in a timely manner who are in violation of policy. Participates in team member counseling sessions and terminations. Participates in harassment/disciplinary investigations. Administers benefits and assists team members in resolving benefit related issues. Assists team members with Family Medical Leave and Short-Term Disability. Works with the marketing team to design billboards and social media posts. Manages social media to showcase team member events, spotlights, and open positions. Regularly spends time on production floor to be available to all team members. Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so. Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
