About The Position

Transdev in North Las Vegas, Nevada is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for our Paratransit location. The Human Resources Generalist supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: • Competitive compensation package of minimum $66,000 – maximum $70,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Knowledge of HR strategies and practices, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft professional correspondence and present information effectively to employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Applicant Tracking Systems (Jobvite preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Flexible and customer-service oriented, committed to supporting employees and passengers in a professional manner.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable (per 49 CFR Part 40; Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, are prohibited).
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruiting for drivers and staff: review applications, schedule and conduct interviews, and manage hiring through Jobvite.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, including new hire EEO/AAP and onboarding documentation.
  • Manage payroll, leaves of absence, and FMLA tracking for assigned employees.
  • Educate employees on benefits and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with background checks, drug/alcohol screens, and E-Verify.
  • Support internal and external employee transfers
  • Other duties as assigned
