About The Position

The Recruiter - Brokerage & Leasing Sales position is responsible for achieving agent headcount goals by building, managing, and converting a high-volume recruiting pipeline. This role functions as the Brokerage organization's recruiting partner and is expected to become an expert on the Smart City Agent position, our markets, and our hiring needs. Success in this role comes from consistency. The Recruiter spends each day sourcing candidates, conducting outreach, selling the Smart City opportunity, managing recruiting pipelines, and moving qualified candidates through the hiring process. They thrive in a repetitive, high-volume environment where disciplined execution produces predictable hiring results. While this position reports to the HR Manager, it works closely with Brokerage leadership and is expected to actively participate in Brokerage meetings to understand hiring priorities, market performance, and the evolving needs of the business. This role is a critical partner in ensuring Smart City has the talent needed to achieve its growth objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of recruiting, staffing, inside sales, business development, or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience recruiting for or working in a high-volume or sales-focused position is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with measurable performance goals.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar sourcing tools preferred.
  • Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting platforms preferred.
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Experience using Asana or other project management software.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to confidently sell career opportunities while setting realistic expectations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruiting pipelines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize changing business needs.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and candidate outreach every day.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where repetition, consistency, and execution drive results.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across Human Resources and the Brokerage org.
  • Comfortable using data and recruiting metrics to measure success and improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own recruiting efforts for the Smart City Agent position across assigned markets.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve a healthy recruiting pipeline that supports company headcount goals.
  • Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, job boards, and proactive outreach.
  • Sell the Smart City Agent opportunity while accurately communicating the expectations and realities of the role.
  • Become the Human Resources subject matter expert on the Smart City Agent position, including compensation, performance expectations, career path, and company culture.
  • Conduct phone screens and qualify candidates for advancement through the hiring process.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of candidate outreach, follow-up, and pipeline management.
  • Manage recruiting platforms and ensure all job postings remain up to date and optimized.
  • Proactively identify passive candidates through networking, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing.
  • Partner closely with Brokerage leaders to understand market hiring needs, headcount targets, and recruiting priorities.
  • Participate in Brokerage meetings to remain informed on market performance, hiring needs, and business initiatives.
  • Participate in HR team meetings and collaborate on recruiting strategy, workforce planning, and process improvements.
  • Lead and continuously improve the National Training program for new Agents.
  • Manage the recruiting inbox, providing timely responses to candidate and internal inquiries.
  • Build, manage, and maintain the pre-licensing candidate pipeline, keeping prospective Agents engaged throughout the licensing process.
  • Manage Realty opt-in recruiting efforts, including posting requisitions, maintaining candidate pipelines, coordinating candidate communications, and facilitating a seamless transition to onboarding.
  • Be agile and adjust to recruiting strategies changes based on current business needs while the company identifies opportunities to improve recruiting processes.
  • Plan and participate in recruiting events, career fairs, networking opportunities, and company-sponsored events.
  • Assist recruiting efforts in other markets as business needs evolve.
  • All other duties as assigned.
