About The Position

Pleasant View Communities is a Life Plan Community in Manheim, Pa., seeking a passionate Activities Assistant. This resident-centered team is dedicated to providing high-quality services. This role involves working on a secured dementia unit and is part of a three-person activity staff team.

Requirements

Desire to work with the senior population
Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Dementia preferred.
Dementia care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implementation of recreational program.
Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance in activities.
Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
