About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Recreational Manager at Columbus Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida. Columbus Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth up to age 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based sex offender services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program. As a Recreational Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with one to three years' experience.
• Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
• Leadership ability is necessary to instill high-standard positive attitudes among staff and students.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively serve students.

Responsibilities
