The ORR Department is ready to hire a Recreational Coordinator to join our team. We seek compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals committed to building a culture of kindness for the children receiving services.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
1-2 years of paid experience working in a youth services field
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire
Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and pass the Agency driver’s test.
Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and the needs of clients.
Must have experience in word processing in a Windows environment.

Experience with recreational planning for youth
Previous Direct Care Service experience with youth
Previous experience transporting clients

Responsibilities

Planning and facilitating onsite and offsite enrichment and recreational activities for youth.
Ensuring activities are age-appropriate.
Supervising outings.
Maintaining activity schedules.
Providing direct care.
Fostering positive relationships with youth.
Supporting cultural and life skills programming.
