About The Position

CocuSocial, backed by Y Combinator, is a leading marketplace for culinary experiences in the US, empowering individual chefs and businesses to host a variety of cooking, baking, wine tasting, and mixology classes. Operating in 26 major US cities, their mission is to educate, entertain, and bring people together through food and drink, celebrating diversity and inclusivity. They are seeking experienced chef instructors to teach live, in-person recreational cooking, baking, and pastry classes at CocuSocial's partner venues, which include restaurants, hotels, breweries, and event spaces. This is not a virtual opportunity. Chef Instructors can expect flexible scheduling, the chance to teach recipes they are passionate about, support from a dedicated team in creating best-selling classes, and competitive compensation. CocuSocial is particularly interested in instructors comfortable teaching popular international dishes such as Handmade Pasta, Cheese Making, Choux Pastry, Sushi, Ramen, Pad Thai, Spanish Paella, and Spanish Tapas.

Requirements

An experienced chef instructor with at least 2 years experience teaching recreational cooking classes
An individual with ServSafe certification or a relevant food handler's license
Authorized to work in the United States
Someone who loves to share his/her/their passion for cooking with other people and help them to learn in a hands-on manner
