Yonkers Center is confident that together we can achieve even the highest standards of skilled nursing. Come join our amazing recreational team at Yonkers Center! This is a part-time, per diem only position with shifts from 9am-5pm, including weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare or recreation setting preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and facilitating recreational activities for residents.
- Lead group and individual activities that promote socialization and engagement.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to residents as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
- Collaborate with staff to tailor activities to meet individual needs.
