Develops the patient/client's continuous care plan. Plans and implements programming according to the needs of the population served and under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator of the Service. Documents and maintains professional communication as evidence of service provision. Service provision may be direct or consultative. Maintains professional conduct, complies with the standards of their profession, code of ethics, and institutional policies. Demonstrates professional growth and competence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Physical Education and Recreation.
- Preferably two years of experience as a Recreational Therapist in a psychiatric setting.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as an Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer to offer physical training is preferred.
