This is a seasonal position from May 20-September 08, 2026, for the Barton Cove Campground in Gill, MA. Training is provided. The Recreation Technician will provide customer support and facility upkeep at Northfield, MA.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong reading and writing skills and ability interpret and follow strict safety procedures
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Strong teamwork experience
- Valid, clean MA driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Facilitate pleasant customer interactions and ensure customer satisfaction and safety at all times
- Provide customer service including answering phones, handling inquiries and explaining camping and area use policies
- Enter and maintain accurate reservations
- Perform safety training to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of campgrounds including cleaning facilities, grounds and light maintenance
- Operate cash register
- Issue rental canoes and kayaks, clean and load on trailer and storage rack
- Operate pickup truck
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Comply with FirstLight policies and procedures
