About The Position
The Village at St. Clair has an exciting opportunity for a Recreation Aide to join their team. This is a Temporary Part-Time position with 30 hours bi-weekly, located at Villages at St. Clair - 1800 Talbot Rd, Windsor, ON N9H 0E3. The hiring rate for this role is $22.59 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Requirements
- Be enrolled in/completed diploma or degree recreation/leisure studies and/or gerontology from a community college or university
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the five domains in Therapeutic Recreation that contribute to an individual’s health
- Knowledge of recreational therapy practices, methods, techniques and opportunities to improve resident’s well-being and holistic health
- An understanding of the relevant sections of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007

- Plan and implement programs
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care that focusses on flexible living and quality of life
