The Artist Cottage & Apothecary Prep Attendant is responsible for facilitating self-guided activities and hosting guests during our Open Studio hours. He/she will assist in setting up art and apothecary projects, providing guidance on projects, and cleaning up workstations and supplies, in a space with high turnover in peak seasons. He/she will provide support to the Artist Cottage Coordinator and Experience Facilitators including assisting with daily activities. Such activities include but are not limited to Soap Making, Wind Chime Class, Ink Dye Coasters, Candle Making, Beekeeping and Honey Tasting, Guided Bike Tours, Bike Kiosk Attendant, Seasonal Activities, and Group Activities (Great Race, Guacamole and Salsa Challenge). He/she will help maintain a clean and organized environment and report to the Artist Cottage coordinator with any inventory or cleanliness concerns. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate is customer service oriented with an interest or background in art and knowledge about essential oils. They will work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, have the ability to multitask, and can be resourceful and adaptable to new tasks/undertakings by using problem solving skills. We invite the opportunity to develop new activities and classes in a collaborative setting. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
