About The Position

Manages all sponsorship activities and is responsible for marketing programs, and events to the public. Serves as Managing lead over all special events. Provides oversight to program staff, camp counselors, contractors, and volunteer staff of approximately twenty (20). Receives general supervision from the Parks & Recreation Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation or a related field
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a related position
• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary skills and abilities to perform the job
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification required or must obtain within 3 months from start date

Nice To Haves

• Certified Public Communicator (CPC)
• International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)
