About The Position

Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Manager, this position is to facilitate recreation activities including but not limited to, community special events, senior center programs and aquatic programs. This is accomplished by providing numerous forms of customer service with the Recreation Division. Other duties include registering citizens for classes of activities, creating marketing publications for events and programs, assisting with program scheduling and various administrative services as delegated by the Recreation Program Manager. This is a part time position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification within one year of employment.
  • Ability to obtain American Water Safety Instructor Certification within one year of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of recreation experience preferred.
