About The Position

Parks and Recreation is looking for energetic individuals to help lead guest experiences at Jacobson Plaza! Recreation Leaders provide direction throughout each shift to Recreation Assistants, ensure policies and safety procedures are followed, respond to customer concerns, oversee admissions and skate rental operations, coordinate incident response, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. Recreation Leaders also support special events, assign and monitor staff tasks, and work alongside the team to ensure every visitor has a positive experience. The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and creating a high standard of customer service while representing Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
