Requirements

• A combination of experience and training related to recreation and childcare
• Strong communication skills, proactive and aware
• Physical ability to do the duties as required
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date
• 3 professional references

Responsibilities

• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement to delivering a 5-star customer service experience
• Recreation Leaders will plan and facilitate summer camp programs for a variety of ages from 3 years old - seniors. Staff may also support community events and activities as needed
• Responsible for assuring all summer programming is planned, facilitated and followed
• Ability to work as a team to devotedly supervise and facilitate participants and daily programs - both in small groups and at community events
• Understand the importance of safety and demonstrate so through responsible leadership by always exhibiting model character
