Recreation Food Runner (Part-Time)

About The Position
The Food Runner position assists the Food Server in providing an expertly served dining experience ensuring all dishes are correctly prepared and presented. This role supports Explorer Island, the resort's recreational area which includes a Family Pool, Splash Zone, Lazy River, The Drop, beach volleyball, basketball courts, and The Hideout gaming area. The Kids for All Seasons program is also located on Explorer Island.
Requirements
- Strong food knowledge
- Prior experience working outside in a resort setting
- Comfortable outside during times of high temperatures
- Able to stand and walk for longer than two-four hours
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English
- Possess legal work authorization in the United States
Responsibilities
- Assist food servers in providing an expertly served dining experience
- Clearing and resetting tables according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line
- Deliver food to the correct tables and seat numbers while giving an accurate and appealing food description
