Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience planning and organizing recreational activities and events
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Recreation preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive recreation program that meets the diverse interests and needs of our community.
  • Collaborating with other staff members, volunteers, and community organizations to plan and promote events and activities.
  • Coordinating logistics, such as scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants by adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the recreation program and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Providing excellent customer service to participants, parents, and community members.
