We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Recreation Centers Administrative Support III. In this role, you will: Support recreation centers that serve thousands of Greensboro residents annually. Help ensure programs, registrations, and participant records are accurate and accessible. The Recreation Centers Administrative Support III position provides administrative and operational support for the Community Recreation Services Section, which oversees recreation centers throughout Greensboro. This role serves as an important resource for staff, participants, and community members by helping maintain program records, supporting registration processes, tracking participation data, and assisting with financial and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and computerized accounting software.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of customer service experience in an administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience operating standard office equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience with government accounting and/or finance.
  • Experience using RecTrac or similar recreation management software.
  • Experience using ePact or similar participant management systems.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, or data tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting multiple supervisors or a multi-site team structure.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining recreation programs within RecTrac.
  • Managing participant information and records through ePact.
  • Providing administrative support for recreation center operations.
  • Assisting with reporting, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Supporting center-level financial processes, expenditure tracking, and documentation.
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets, tracking tools, and data summaries.
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff, participants, and community members.
  • Assisting with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems.
