About The Position
The Recreation Assistant at Parker at River Road provides activities tailored to the individual abilities, needs, and desires of residents to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life. This role is per diem, with shifts available monthly as needed, Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm or 11 am to 7 pm, with occasional weekends from 9 am to 5 pm. Requirements
- High School graduate or GED.
- Current NJ driver’s license in good standing required, may be required to drive company vehicle.
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, scanner, photocopying and laminating machine, resident bus equipment and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
