About The Position
CareOne at Concord is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Activities Assistants to join their team. The Recreation Assistant will be responsible for bringing fulfillment and quality of life to residents in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation setting. This role involves assisting in the planning and implementation of group and individual activities for the geriatric population.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekends
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Recreation/Activities position in long term care
- Previous experience with dementia activities
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assist with the activity programs of this facility
- Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments
