Provides general assistance and support to assigned recreation programs and activities; performs related work as required. An employee in this class carries out prearranged recreational programs and activities; sets up and issues equipment for recreational activities; assists in providing on-site supervision of participants in recreation programs and activities; aids in the creation of new recreation opportunities; and performs a variety of general and routine administrative tasks in support of recreation programs. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Director and the Recreation Supervisor. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a part-time role that requires working flexible hours on evenings, weekends and holidays.
