Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Recreation Aide assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of meaningful programs for the residents. This role involves collaborating with the Recreation Manager & Executive Director, maintaining department records, communicating with residents and families, attending in-service education, participating in team meetings, facilitating resident outings, assessing resident activity levels, preparing and evaluating daily activities, and assisting with meal services as required. The position also requires working in a position of trust with vulnerable adults and upholding the organization's values and philosophy.
