About The Position

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking a Recreation Aide to join our Activities Department. Join our team if you want to give back to those who have given so much for our Country. Assist in planning and coordinating therapeutic recreational activities such as parties, games, social outings and special events.
Interacts with residents on a one to one basis to provide individual recreational activities.
Records and maintains the daily participation records of the residents activities.
