Our community, Lansdowne Heights Memory Care, is hiring a passionate Recreation Aide to fill part-time shifts 15-20 hours weekly. Weekend availability is required. Responsibilities include leading daily programming and providing compassionate support. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly and possess excellent communication skills. Compassion and a service-oriented mind are a must!

Responsibilities
- Preparing the recreation area for the day
- Leading group activities such as exercise, news, and games.
- Providing one on one engagement at different times during the day
- Providing nutrition at snack time
- Reminiscing and leading sensory activities.
- Leading purposeful activities such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, and other chores.
- Guiding volunteers
- Decorating and events
- Working as a team with other departments
- Be able to work with integrity and independently with small groups
