About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking individuals with tremendous personalities and great attention to detail to join their team as Recreation Activities. The ideal candidate will create a memorable experience for guests by ensuring the pool experience is exceptional. This role involves conducting lessons in water sports, demonstrating proper techniques and safety procedures, and adapting instruction to various skill levels. The position also requires implementing and enforcing safety protocols, monitoring conditions, and providing basic first aid. Additionally, the role includes inspecting and maintaining equipment, interacting with participants in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, and fostering a positive environment. The Recreation Activities professional will develop lesson plans, create engaging activities, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with the team. Requirements

High school diploma; or equivalent.
Navigation License
Experience in a guest service role
Ability to work on feet for an extended period
Ability to communicate effectively
Someone who can lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.
Availability to work varied shifts to include, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Conduct lessons in water sports, including kayaking, paddleboarding, and others.
Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures to participants.
Adapt instruction to the skill level of individuals or groups.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks during water sports activities.
Monitor weather and water conditions to ensure participant safety.
Provide basic first aid when necessary.
Inspect and maintain water sports equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment and facilitate repairs or replacements.
Interact with participants in a friendly and professional manner.
Address participant inquiries and concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Develop lesson plans that align with participants' skill levels and goals.
Create a variety of engaging activities to keep lessons interesting and challenging.
Maintain accurate records of participant progress and attendance.
Report any incidents, accidents, or hazardous situations and follow appropriate reporting procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Assist with any other tasks required within the department.
