About The Position

This role is within Recycling and Waste Management Services. The Recovery Technician is responsible for following schedules and service orders, providing exceptional on-site customer service, completing service paperwork, and maintaining assigned equipment. The position also requires participation in GFL's safety programs and comfort with both night and day shifts.

Requirements

• CDL A with X Endorsement
• Customer service experience
• Self-motivated attitude
• Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
• Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules and service orders in accordance with the Service Coordinator’s instructions
• Provide exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promotes GFL’s service offerings
• Complete service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components and other assigned equipment
• Participate in GFL’s safety programs including: safety meetings, last minute risk assessments, and job hazard assessments.
