About The Position

Recovery Techs support women in residential substance use and mental health treatment. This role is ideal for CNAs who want to stay in client care while transitioning into behavioral health, mental health, or addiction services. The position requires compassion, calmness under pressure, and the ability to maintain boundaries. Recovery Techs help maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for clients in recovery.

Requirements

• Ability to be approved to drive company vehicles under company insurance
• Ability to pass DHS Background Study
• Basic computer skills
• Must have 2 years continuous freedom from substance abuse

Nice To Haves

• CNA Certificate Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document client activities to ensure safety and accountability
• Conduct facility rounds every two hours (hourly during visitation)
• Assist with client admissions, discharges, and documentation
• Administer or oversee medication distribution (training provided)
• Perform drug screenings and breathalyzer tests
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (Procentive)
• Support facility cleanliness and client chore completion
• Provide transportation using company vehicles
• Utilize de-escalation skills to support clients during difficult moments
• Prepare simple meals when needed
• Attend required meetings and training sessions
